Hope Recovery Center LLC., is opening in Atlantic, with Justin Williams, program director.
Services offered are Outpatient substance abuse levels 1.0, Intensive outpatient level 2.1, continuing care, drug screenings, 12-hour State of Iowa approved DUI course, OWI Evaluations, and non-OWI evaluations. The services are for adults 18 and over. The office is located at 201 Linn Street, in the Natural Health Center.
Williams said, "We feel that mixing adults and minors in a substance abuse setting is improper."
"We are finding ourselves working in a time when substance dependence is a major social issue."
Main Goals
The major "founding goals" of the Hope Recovery Center, licensed by the Iowa Department of Public Health, are:
1. To provide evidence based treatment to all clients.
2. To provide exploration of choices within clients lifestyle.
3. To give potential clients choices in substance abuse providers.
4. To place the clients needs before that of the company
5. To provide long term treatment options for clients.
6. To remain non-political, and remain privately owned.
7. To remain non-secular.
8. To provide supportive evaluations based solely on need, not a required number of clients.
9. To diagnosis clients properly using the ASAM criteria.
10. To ensure confidentiality of all clients.
Clients' Choice Williams said, "We feel that we will be able to now give clients a choice where they can go and what style of treatment they can receive.
